    Description

    This is a highly colored tin head "Minerva" doll.  I do not know if it was repainted by someon ed or if the color is original; my guess is that it is a repaint.  She has blue glass eyes whicb is unusual, Minervas usually had painted eyes.  She is on a sawdust stuffed body and her arms and legs appear to be made of resin but I am not totally sure of that.  They are not china, however.  She wears pantellettes in white and a pretty dark green dress with a white print on it...it goes with her green boots!  There is an attached white pinafore to the dress tha td is very cute.  The green make her look Christmas-y but she would also look great at St. Patrick's Day as well!
