    Description

    Beautiful Thanksgiving vibe rug. Length: 67in Width: 35in  We bought this in the 70s.  I remember it was a prizewinner at one of the East Tennessee - Western North Carolina craft fairs - I think Asheville, but maybe Chattanooga.  We bought it from Fannie Mennen (Google her).  Looks to be a variation of a loom made rag rug, except the 'rags' seem to be uniform in terms of fabric and size, and appear to be all wool rather than a variety of fabrics.   Used for a short time in a spare bedroom, then taken up and displayed.  Makes a good table/buffet runner for certain occasions, as well as a  rug.  Uniformly made, well thought out colors in a seemingly random piece.
