    Description

Wonderful Moser Fern Leaf Pattern Enameled Stem c.1885
Beautiful c.1885 teal blue shade to clear glass stem (probably a port glass) decorated with the famous Moser Fern Leaf pattern in polychrome enamels and
gold.  Spectacular example of Victorian era high life decorating at it's height!
For the most part, the gold is in excellent condition, any wear you see in the photo is exaggerated due to bright photography lights.    Any white "blotches" or spots you see on the glass are just reflections from the photography lights.
    Provenance: Gary Baldwin Collection.
References:  See the Baldwin "Moser Artistic Glass" book for several identically decorated examples on page 85, plate 13 and page 86 plates 16 & 18, page 88, plate 24, and so on.
    Measures about 5" tall.
The handling fee covers eBay mandated insurance, packing supplies, etc.
I strive to get all fives in my eBay seller feedback, and work hard to achieve that. I gladly leave positive feedback to those that give high fives feedback.
Thanks for looking, please ask questions, good luck!
